Blech. I hate "perfect" women. Give me someone with an interesting "flaw" any time. Symmetry is not beautiful unless it is broken at least once.

Richard, let's agree your against the grain opinion is refreshing, interesting and
provocative. How about taking it further with your idea of ideal or perfect flaws?

Women: To be considered attractive and needed, secure and protected.

Men: To win, to become successful and achieve more than their fathers.

Both: Approval, a fair shake, common courtesy, self esteem and respect.

Your take?

OMG no. I don't give a tinker's damn if anyone considers me attractive or not. I am responsible for my own protection, just as every other adult is. I don't need some man to provide financial security until he feels like moving on, either. I'm not a child who needs to go from being cared for (in theory) in my parents' house to being cared for by a man. I would not respect any woman who was that infantile. Where did you get your information from?

So are you saying, if you boil it all down, reduce it to the essence......

All women really want, is to be thought of as pretty? Have some people in their lives that assure them they are, and put their arms around them at night and whisper in their ear they'll make everything ok ?

All men really want, is to one up the man that man that made us, and any other man that comes along and gets in the way, make sure we one up him as well?

All both want is to be liked along the way, as they are looked upon as pretty, as they conquer everything that came before them, and gets in there way, and of course to feel good about themselves as they achieve this?

We're mere guys. What do we know? How about putting the question to a random sampling of mature ladies of varying ages, who have known both pleasure and pain, prosperity and adversity and shoot straight. Then get back to us with thier comments.

I did, turns out they'd all rather shag then have meaningless conversation.
Guess we can finally accurately adjust this.
