a rec is a "slang" word we use around here. since we are not allowed to swear or cuss, whenever anyone makes us mad we call them a "rec". And the number of times you have pi$$ed people off is recorded where it says "Total Recs". Basically, the more "recs" you have, the bigger a-hole you are.
