One thing I have always found admirable is the athlete's coach, sitting quietly and smiling in the stands, as his protege has won the Gold Medal and laps up the glory.
The years of hard work and training 'together', with the toils and pains and injuries; a coach who has never given up, in the knowledge he is with somebody special. Rarely does a coach lap the limelight, in fact the majority are unknowns.
To simply smile in the achievement of the athlete's glory, and remain unknown, is a very admirable thing I have seen often.

In all seriousness, selflessness in the many (but sadly uncommon) forms it can take.

World Club rankings calculated using an ELO rating system.
I'd thought bayern & lyon would've done much better there, among others. and several clubs ahead them much worse... something seems weird with these rankings.

Bayern haven't done great in their league this year. I think that the cross league comparison is not very well established, probably because too of not enough European games since they started the ranking.
