What's On Your Workbench?
At the moment... (1) Small file of stats and analytical notes on the relationship of NFL casino spreads to actual over/under coverage
by team (performance index) and season to date aggregate. (2) Chess book received as a gift. (3) Few Thanksgiving greetings and
a postcard from Reykavik. (4) The Oxford Book of American Verse (yard sale find, all 1,132 pages for $1.00). (5) My trusty 'Do List'.
😉

Klien "California" wire tie pliers(wonderful for tying rebar), The "Miracle" Vaughn wooden handle hammer(the first time I used this, it was like it was handed down from the Gods), Porter Cable Router(much power), one of the first 14v cordless DeWalt drills(classic that still works and batteries are very reliable).

GRANNY.
My "workbench" is my desk. In addition to the computer, mouse, and mousepad, I have a scanner, a toaster, a couple pieces of today's paper, a book that I never knew I bought although I do remember wanting to (The Last Lecture), and tea stuff.
Why do I have a toaster on my desk? Someone on Freecycle requested one and I don't use mine. I put it on my desk to remind me to contact them, but they haven't contacted me back yet.

Originally posted by Grampy BobbyI do have a desk in my living room. I used to have a work bench once, but only because it came with the place I was living in. I try to avoid sharp objects as a rule.

Originally posted by mlpriorFor me, my desk is my workbench, in that it's the piece of furniture/wood I do all my working on. It's just that the work I do doesn't include sharp things like nails. Otherwise, I think for everyone else it's a real workbench.
I'm confused, are we talking "workbench" or "desk"?
😕
