It's like any record. Over time and as people train, they will get better and records will be 'smashed'. Years from now, 1000 edits will scarcely qualify you for your state post-editing championships. To get to the nationals you're really going to have to do a lot better.

i think you get a one-hour window in which to edit, yeah? so that would put an upper limit on it. someone with an hour to spare from watching the paint dry should give it a go.

The proper way to test this is to make a single community account which anyone can post under. Then you can edit until you get bored and let someone else take over.
