So there is this relatively new deal with writing stories, really milking them so they can pile in the maximum in ads.
A paragraph with some stupid photo having nothing to do with the title of the piece, then NEXT and click bait to the next set of ads.
I wonder if this shows a dedicated crew of paragraph writers, maybe there are college writing courses on this?
@sonhouse saidActually you don't need a college degree to write some meaningless paragraphs about some information you gleaned from some source...

When I was at school we looked at what was called "Schundliteratur" (trash literature?) and we were able to make pardoies afetr avery short time.
@ponderable saidOoh, we should create a Schundliteratur parody thread.

I hate click bait stories. They take a simple question like Why did Patty Duke not go to her senior prom? Then take 30 pages of text, repeating the same information every few pages, and never once addressing that question. Once I see, Next on a story I close the page.
@gambrel saidI'm with you there. Bloody swines.

@gambrel saidThe only solution is to make sure everybody knows why Patty didn't go to the prom, so they don't need to click. Maybe message two people and ask them to message two others each and so on. Ask them to donate £2 to the campaign fund.

@gambrel saidI have a T-shirt that says that.
That's what she said
That's how trashy I am.
