Farscape of course! I hear you think: "How can a SF series be good?", but it is! Watch it, and judge for yourself. It's way better than Star Trek. Especially Deep Space 9, which is just a 'soap in space'.
Fortunately, after the series stopped after four seasons, they are making a four hour miniseries. Woohoo!
Broadcasting:
Holland: Saturday 16:25, Yorin
USA: SciFi Ch, somtime during the night. But these are only reruns, you can bet the miniseries is going to be double prime time. It wasn't 'best show on SciFi Channel' for nothing!
Other countries: Ask your local broadcaster. If they aren't broadcasting it, make them! π

Although now only in syndication, alas, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is by far the best show on TV. In fact, Buffy may be the best thing ever made by man (and that includes the polio vaccine...).
Man! I can't wait to tell Br. Kirk about this, it will provide goading material for years! Hehehe... π

All these, and many more pressingly relevent issues have found their resolution within Buffy the Vampire Slayer. π

Originally posted by bbarrWell, unless the vampires are always slain in the act of vampirizing (I don't know, I've never seen the show), the very title seems to answer this question as yes; no. However, it is possible that there is some statute of limitations whereby a vampire, not having tossed back any hemoglobin in the past, say, 20 minutes, cannot be, erm, staked out. This is clearly deserving of further research, and I think you're the man for it. Drop that stuffy dissertation topic you were on about and just spend a weekend getting primary sources to this effect. You know, interviews with vampires.

[I do enjoy the vampire genre though. In fact, I paid actual money that could have been spent on actual youthful consumables like bad music and cannabis (I jest on both counts, or course, the first in particular) to see 'van Helsing' on Saturday. It didn't leave much of an impression beyond annoyance at the fact that when educated monks read Latin inscriptions aloud in English in films, they always seem to rhyme. High cinema.]

You are asking all the correct questions as a new member in the faith. However, as a born again Christian you must now find all resolutions in Jesus Christ and in Jesus Christ alone. Buffy was simply a beautiful detour pointing you to the way of Jesus. I am hopeful that this sincere post will put me back in the good graces of Colleti.
