If you've got 5 mates in the same room and you can all connect to and play the same table together it is pretty easy to win big against the other players as you have a massive advantage. I was told this on a poker site by another player.

There must be some way of preventing this, and the sites must have ways of detecting it when it is going on. I just wouldn't play for money if there was a chance the odds would be so heavliy stacked against me, and as such I dont. Free chips all the way!

Edit - I'd welcome others' views on this...

I play poker. Not for a living, but for the challenge of the game. I've been told by some people who are supposed to know, that if there aren't enough human players for a game, the on-line casino inserts computer players! 😲

I sure wouldn't want to play in a serious money tournament where there are computer players!

The collusion problem is in fact easier to prevent in online poker than live poker. I could go into great detail but I can't be bothered 😛

It is possible to make A LOT of money playing poker online, however BEWARE.... only 7% of ppl playing online poker each year make a profit.
