i will finally be able to build the garage of my audi's dreams...
no more sleeping under the stars,
no more indignities of stray dogs pissing on her tyres,
no more bird crap fouling the sunroof,
no more paparazzi demanding to know who owns such a fine polluter of the atmosphere...

Meh, I have no illusions about "winning the lottery".

I have a better chance of being struck by lightning.

That, added to the horror stories about what having that kind of money does to a person, and I'm just like "meh, who cares, I don't need it to be happy". So I just don't care to waste money on it. Sure, I'll go to Vegas, but I spend a minimal amount and just to have fun doing it.

Winning the lottery would be great, just not too much, it would spoil the fun - so not more than say up to 5 million Swedish Crowns, less would be fine too. But as I never gamble, none of that will happen.

    What she said.

I see these people scratching off lottery papers and it looks more like a redneck retirement program.

I saw a comedian, forget her name, but she said, If I won the lottery I would quit in the middle of this joke🙂

Pretty soon I shall sell my shares in this site; that will feel like a lottery win.

If I win the lottery again I'm going to keep some of it instead of giving it all to charity.

I’d just like to win enough to pay off my best friend’s mortgage and maybe indulge myself
in a place with a garden big enough to have a pond and a bee hive.

Some fish would be nice but my main interest would be a safe haven for frogs; a big one got trapped inside a stack of plant pots and died but I have one that hangs out in a roll of torn tarpaulin , plus a baby toad that lives under a few old housebricks. I’m looking into starting a reality TV show for children on them. 🙂

When I had a small garden some 15 years ago, there was a couple of toads living there for a while and I hoped they would stay but they moved on. Where I live now, in a 7-storey house with walking distance to the city centre (if you enjoy walking), we have noticed two foxes who visit our garden late some evenings and that feels pretty exotic.
