When I write the book...

When I write the book about my life and loves and times, I shall truly purpose to remember several guidelines: (1) The wisdom of the words

penned by Leonard Bernstein, "To achieve great things two things are needed: A plan and not quite enough time." (2) The accuracy of the

stringent words recorded by James, "Your life on earth is but a fleeting vapor trail" (which sometimes, when the clot shifts, I recall as 'grease

stain'😉. (3) And the playfulness of Oscar Wilde in 'The Importance of Being Earnest'. How out of step he'd be on a chess site general forum.

if one's life is but a fleeting vapor trail, why bother writing or reading a book about it?

For the same reason our distant ancestors were motivated to leave signatures, create pictures and graffiti on their cozy cave walls.

Guess again. Hint #1: If we were them and they were us, the nicknames on your posts and mine might be rocksasqua and pebblebobb.

Writing a book should not include this site, although just regular observations of internet life should come into play.

I mean some people take the internet so seriously. There was a girl that took out a hit on another girl because she didn't like her myspace page.

But real life is what to write, well unless you want to do a satire.

Then this place is the equivalent of a combination of "1984" and "Animal Farm".

That might sell. With all I have learned I might take on that task. I swear I keep seeing the pig Napoleon and of course Snowball ( we all know who he would be ).

Room and board were at a premium... all those innocent/plug ugly folks still anticipating and awaiting invention of chess and the wheel.
