So, before coming to the site, you didn't google 'chess site,' you googled 'clan forum?'
I would have thought everyone here initially came to a chess site to play chess. Perhaps, with your preoccupation with the clan forum you have forgotten this? Perhaps that forum has muddled your brain?

No actually I didn't even know how to play chess .....well I knew the basic moves......before I joined. A mate of mine had started a clan and wanted me to play in it with him so I joined. The chess doesn't interest me that much but the camaraderie in the clan forum,albeit in a very gnarly fashion, interests me. So there you have it in a nutshell.

The general forum crowd are sharper of wit and intellect. (As Egyptians we did of course invent paper and the written word). As slaves, why not be good to your masters rather than grumbling about the land you now find yourself in. Perhaps we will teach you some of our games and develop your vocabulary. Throw off the shackles of vulgarity sir, embrace civilisation!

They must be. I just don't get these word games. I had a look in a few, then decided for a bit more excitement and went out to watch the grass grow.
Honestly......do people actually get a kick out of playing these mindless games. And I thought carrobie needed to get a life. The guys a party animal compared to the zombies in here. God give me strength......
