Are they like cats? Do they just disappear into the wilderness?

Are they like vapors? Do they just dissipate into the ether?

Or are they like old soldiers? They just, fade away.

I'm pretty sure that after a certain period of time, like that of the non bone parts of a dead person buried, they disintegrate. 🤔

Like elephants - first disappear, then disintegrate.

True enough. Now what about synthetic threads?

Synthetic threads have a synthetic death which is most unnatural.

    they are data,
    and data never dies...
it merely reforms its atomic structure,
and becomes a large order of fries...

True, data is energy and cannot be destroyed.

I believe the grave digger is somehow involved in the disappearance.

    Well, let's see.

The last month that Ponderable has worked up the stats for, there were 31 threads killed.

You had 15 of those. The next closest person had 3.

I submit that you are the single biggest clear and present danger to the forum subculture we have at RHP. Where you go, intelligent conversation stops. Frankly, you're not doing anyone here any favors.

    Oh but he's such a self-professed leader.
Being the best loser is a kind of victory, no?

    But see, that's just it.

When he wins, the rest of us lose.
