Yes, their are vehicles with them not on a phone but a built in screen about 12x12 inches, also access-a-bus have those also, some of the new versions will actually talk to you. I haven't been on a commercial bus in years so don't know if they have them, but assume they do. They actually have a voice in them GBS use to be a voice but his voice was way too sexy and it distracted the drivers men and women. 😉

Google Mis-Maps has been the cause of a lot of rescues here, but our Tesla just complains when it thinks it's not on a road. The GPS-enabled lawnmower often mows in the wrong place, same problem.

No, Google Maps has always had trouble here outside the big cities, and Apple's mapping is even worse. Our services and facilities only work where 97% of the population actually live.
