Which came first, porn writer or martial arts movie writer?



I have noticed that the writing of plots and the dialog for martial arts and porn movies is about the same. Is there a difference besides subbing the sex for the fighting?

I think porn as it is, was formulated around the 70's. before that it was quite different, focusing more on funny stories or jokes. 20's porn looks more like laurel&hardy than the deep throat. martial arts genre is a couple of decades older I think. maybe there really is a connection between the bruce lee craze in the west and genre-movies? sounds possible, even likely.

maybe the influence went from early westerns to pre-fifties east, came back as kung-fu flicks, and contributed to the 70's porn genre?

erotica has, porn only from nineteenth century. and the thing relating to martial arts movie writing, is from the 70's or maybe even late 60's. porn after early 90's don't much follow this tradition anymore.

yea, but it didn't mean 'imagery with a goal of arousal', it meant prostitute. the 'goal of arousal' is also what differentiates porn from erotica, which has been around for thousands of years.
