Interesting reading. I found this too:

Amendment 13 of the US constitution - Slavery Abolished.

1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been 'duly' convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

Guantanamo Bay??? "Duly" convicted??? Which country is lying, in its own constitution?

I don't. The question was on the above website! 😉

But still, GWB has a lot to answer for, in question to it all!

I wonder if he will ever be accountable for being a dick of the first order? 🙂

Guantanamo Bay violates a lot of things, but not this. Slavery and involuntary servitude are about work. Convicted prisoners working on chain gangs clearing trash on the highway fits here. Guantanamo Bay violates Amendments 5, 6, 7, and 8 but not this "Neither slavery..." part.

Neither. The Nazis were right. The Jews have always controlled America.

(JUST KIDDING!)

Did Washington say that? I thought it was Adams in the Treaty of Tripoli.

Wouldn't they be covered by the 'punishment for a crime of which they have been duly convicted' bit?

Exactly.
