I reckon the greatest super hero would have to be...Homer Simpson. He's indestructable.

And the greatest villain, by far is Darth Vader.
Bush jr. is second.

Batman should have had a villian who was a chess nerd.A geeky skinny little pimply faced high school kid.The kid's special power is his ability to predict what Batman would do next, and prevent the cowled crusader from doing it.
How about the name Prophilaxis??With his henchmen named after GM's.Tal,Benko,Morphy,etc.Then have 1 henchman no one likes named Blobby (lol jk).

The best heroes are always the anti-heroes and Watchmen has two of the most intriguing anti-heroes in the comic medium - Dr Manhattan and Rorschach. But still my favourite would have to be Cerebus the Aardvark before he became a vehicle for the author's misogyny.

General Jack D. Ripper is a good villian.

"Fluoridation is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous communist plot we have ever had to face"

For a hero Andy Dufresne.

"Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies"
