It's not very fair to name names in a public forum but you can check out the player tables. My browser shows 20 players per page and you can get to the last page quickly by changing the address link to page 124. 😉
The whole reason I entered the Zeta Grand Mid tournament, adding 64 games to my 90 something games already going!, is because I thought it would be a great way to find out if I really deserve my ranking. I just don't see myself as a 1400+ rated player. Nothing decisive yet, the only games I have won are move timeouts and weird resignations at the beginning of the game. I think I have a few good games going, but many of them are still in the openings.
BTW, if anyone of a higher ranking would like to play me and critique my playing, offer their opinion on my skill versus my rating, it would be much appreciative!

Whatever happened to that "copy cat" person? I always wanted to try 1.d4 d5 2.e4 e5 3.exd5 exd4 4.Qxd4 Qxd5 5.Qxd5 or something like that and see what copy cat would do. But the last time I looked he/she hadn't been moving so I didn't send a game.
EDIT: I just looked and it seems copy cat has recently moved. Anyone know anything about this person?

I will have to work it out... but I figured a way to either force him to do a mate, or I was able to mate before he quit....

Copy cat came back once and posted "My old log in and password are back if anyone wants to play for me again."
I warned him that Russ had already asked us not to use it and that he should probably not be doing this stuff, since Russ didn't like that.
