When I just blur my vision, the mustache breaks up into separate teeth.

This was in a science journal a few months ago. In layman's terms they did it by printing two images together. The hook is they used different focus lengths for each one. Therefore different images depending on focus.

I think if you have a few drinks you will be able to see both people at the same time, and after a couple more you can even get a conversation going.
