Here's another tip. I don't know where you're staying in SD, but if you're staying in a hotel, you may want to keep this in mind. I was down there last year on business. Had a great time. Great city. The problem was, they have this train that goes by the hotels at like 3:00AM with a REALLY loud whistle. Ask the front desk at your hotel about it. I've never had such miserable sleep in my entire life.

Thanks RB, yeah, that's down by the old ballpark. Don't know what they were thinking there. I know the city pretty well, there was no hotel that could put me up for a month, so I have to change hotels twice while I'm out there. But it's two and a half weeks in La Jolla and a week and a half in the Gaslamp district. Would have preferred the beach or Coronado, but the option wasn't there.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to meet up with you. I'm busy with the family until I fly back to Japan on Wednesday.
