I must be leading a sheltered life - I've never listened him on air even once.

He's on satellite (Sirius) radio. He played the Pat O'Brian tapes of him soliciting a prostitute and dubbed it in to Prince's "Let's Go Crazy."

Since you are on the west coast I think you can get the start at Howard 101. East coast is Howard 100.

I was reading your profile about how you like the Book of James where it says to look after the widow and orphan. Howard does this all the time. He employs the mentally retarded. Gives money away to the homeless. Has given hope to many dying people. He was once visited by a young man dying of kidney failure. Howard brought in some strippers to give them massages. How can you say he is not a nice person?

Thanks. Yeah, I wasn't sure what the deal was. When I tuned in this morning, they were having a press conference on Howard 100, but it seemed like the regular show was on Howard 101.

Doesn't he make his living from promoting trash culture?

Just curious.

I think the REAL not nice persons are people like Rush Limberger
cheese or Pat pukeface Roberston who advocates assasination
as a state policy. These are the real scumbags of talk shows.
Howard Stern just represents the perennial teenage sexual
fantasy talk personified. I say its about freedom of speech.
There is talk about congress going after control of satellite radio
and tv but that would end constitutional rights, which of course
is the supposed cornerstone of our so-called civilization and
the flaming right would love nothing better than to chop such
freedoms right in the throat.
So for that reason and that reason alone I hope Howard Stern
gets all of his 12 million listeners back. I think this country is
going down a suppresive path led by the religious right and it needs
to be stopped, its a cancer on our society and anything that halts
this cancer has my blessing.

It must be those three million 50 year olds buying into Sirius then.
BTW, now that Howards on, the price just went to $6.66 per share🙂
