I feel like Rush Limbaugh! (US joke)

Since joining this site, I opened the wallet and let the moths out, I purchased something for the first time on the net.

My daughters might have to buy their own computer, cause dads playing chess and won't get off.

Can't put it down, stayed up to 1:30 am playing last night.....

Is there a Therapist that can control this urge?

Yes, that is how it begins. The kids hate you cause you don't spend enough time with them. The wife yells at you. Then she divorces you. Then you get fired for playing at work. Step 1: We came to believe that we were powerless over chess and that our lives had become unmanagable.

Good luck, my brother.

I was going to write a long message, but decide to keep it simple....

Get your game count down to around 20 at most!!!

Here is what I was going to write... but decided not to.

----------------------

!
Yes, you are bad off. You have almost 50 games... that is BAD. You need to pace yourself. It took me a while, I will admit... but I started out slow. I had about 12 games at a time going, and now am up to 21 or so. Yet I spend less time here.

Share computer?! Never! Geesh... time to get a Celeron and make a little home network. Link them babies and you can share the computers. You could also act like you are helping them when they are online... and every now and them just click over to RHP and check for the new happenings.

I was able to clean and sand the deck, as well as cut the grass... and watch my baseball... and some football... all while keeping it real at RHP. Bring the Ms. to a chick flick, or bring the family to a kid's movie... eat out now and then and help with the dishes....

Then run to the computer and let us know how it goes now and then.

My solution is to only play 21 day games and lots of them. This means that theoretically i don't have to play every day or even every week. However theory and practice diverge at rhp. I play every day, i play for hours and hours. I play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play.

As of late I have found a very good cure for my addiction.......work. Well.......that is now that they've taken the computer with internet access out of the office and put it in the hotel lobby for the guests to use. (at this point I wrote a rather long rant about drunks, angry senior citizens, and Mr. Know-it-all. Very theraputic, but I will save that for another day in another thread. Long story short, I now only play chess when all of the "helpful Harry's" arent around, i.e. when I work the graveyard shift). 😉😀
