Yes:
"12) Do not rant. Ranting is defined here as a style of post that comes across as a political broadcast or an angry protest that does little to progress the discussion or to involve other posters. Such postings often feel like an intrusion into the general debate, regardless of the validity of the points being made."

"2) Do not post profanity. There may be occasions where the context of certain words may be acceptable, and this will be at the moderators' discretion, however posts containing profanity will often be removed automatically by the "robomod". There will be situations where it removes inoffensive posts, but this is unavoidable."
Definitely better than the "nothing goes" rule we had before concerning profanity, while you could call people idiots or retards without getting into trouble. It sounds like the new guidelines focus a bit more on content than words, which I think is a good thing. I would prefer less moderation (this is the most heavily moderated forum I have ever visited), but I can see that it has come to a point where it may be necessary (especially in the Debates Forum).

It's what the silent majority wants, and you tend to side with them most often just due to your undying hatred for me and my clan over something that happened nearly a year ago for half a day in your private forum.
Soak it up.
P-
I don't hate you, I just don't think modding and BFCC-leading mix well.
I don't hate your clan either. And I don't hate RN's clan.
I do think you're as responsible as RN's antics for MY absence because, like has been said, this place is boring now.
