We've become the politicians we self-righteously decry as superficial gadflies--- if we can't put it into a twitter-approved condensed version (and include some form of personal insult), our idea is dismissed out of hand.
No one is breathing, let alone thinking.
For me it is:
1) Insane curiosity about what the other actors in the latest episode of the "RHP Forum Show" are discussing,
2) For me to post enough reasonably funny, informative comments to maintain my status as a semi-regular forum character,
3) To enjoy seeing the words "Very Rusty" plastered all over the threads and be amused by his frenetic attention whoring.
