Mostly German and Irish, not British.....

Wake up people. I have lived in several countries. I find racism prevelant in all cultures. America just has more press coverage.

That is so true. Why can't everyone just love each other? I have plenty of love to dish out.

Why is everyone always pointing fingers at each other. Everyone needs to take their own credit and blame for the world we have built. We can't do anything to change what our Ancestors did, that is all in the past. What we can do now is alter the present to change the future. In hopes of making it better. What is happening race wise in the United States is an internal affair. We have our problems just like the rest of the world has theirs. But be assured that whatever race issues there are in this Country, Black, Brown. Red, White, Yellow or Mixed. Democrat or Republican Man, Woman and Child, we are all Americans first. We will stand shoulder to shoulder to defend our land. All races have earned their place in history on this Continent. We have a proud mixed culture. What you might think divides us is in fact what Unites us. Yes we have some internal and external conflicts to work out. I think we all are aware that just because something has been in the past doesn't mean it always will be. I think we all know we need to work together both with strength, and diplomatically. I wouldn't be to quick to count America out unless you are ready to be counted out. Truth is, we all need each other. Diversity is great, because all cultures can work together to butters each others bread. If only we could get the big dogs to stop eating the little dogs. And learn that greed is a weakness not a strength. When I look at the world I see us having more similarities than differences.

It is such a shame so many people don't see things how you just put it.

I dont think it is skin colour, race or sex which prevents us from all getting along, its our mental conditioning depending on each life experience/situation we have been exposed to which delopes our understanding of others.

Yes, I agree. And I think it comes from both social and economic backgrounds developed from an early age. Everyone trying to compete for a better social standing in their surroundings. What do they call that in the animal kingdom? Dominate male dominant female something? We are all supposed to be smarter than animals but sometimes I just don't know. But I think I do. I haven't ever seen an animal waving a nuke around threatening to destroy the planet.

I think we do stomp on people's toes to become what we imagine to be successful, it's just a shame lots of people don't choose to be successful in living as good people as opposed to being richer, famous or possibly even more intelligent too.
