...are we still being subjected to these intolerable site down times. From 1700 hrs nzst the site is down for essential maintenance - every bloody night. We were promised a move away from this but it has returned. It's becoming insufferable, especially so in this hemisphere as it is prime inet time.
For christs sake Russ, get it sorted. Jesus wept.

RHP reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that RHP shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
This gives you a couple of simple options
1. Live with it
2. Move

But to be honest this would not help at all, as the downtimes are most likely as a result of Russ and Chris trying to improve the server speed. With new servers recently being put in, there will of course be some downtime, it is to be expected, after all, the internet isn't perfect, and there will always be some glitch or something. It has to be fixed in someone's prime time, and seeing as the majority of users are from U.K or U.S. it makes sense that the downtimes are done whilst they are mostly asleep.
Look moweut, I teach Lit. and suffer IT badly. So just explain to me how I post my RHP moves in a seperate folder. The hell I can.

But I can understand, at that time, no one really wants to maintance things.
Originally posted by AikoMaybe Russ and Chris should move to one of those Atlantic Islands so they can schedule downtimes at a reasonable time. 😀

Originally posted by AikoRuss probably has the stats about how many people are online. Normally, the forum is quite active during that time.
