It certainly does it, but of the millions celebrating in Italy on Friday I sincerely doubt more than about 5% of them are particularly nationalistic at any other time. I suppose this justifies your argument rather than any counter-argument, but what I'm getting at is, this is where it stops. Nobody is talking about invading Portugal, nobody is saying that because they won a few football matches they should put an end to immigration etc. If people want to celebrate with flags, let them. It's not the rebirth of extremism.
