Now, now, don't go all KellyJay on us. Some are more flawed than others, and there is always hope that, as we continue to evolve, we shall construct "a more perfect union" with each other as well as with nature.

LOL, Four legs good, two legs bad (except for two legs with wings)."

😆

300,000 yrs.... biological evolution works extremely slowly, and that is what separates us from our nearest relatives (bonobos) who are still eating low-hanging fruit in the jungle. We alone have the capacity (namely, the frontal lobes) to speed up evolution socially, not only biologically. But this does not occur at an even pace in all societies.

I'm not Shirley.

Go live among the Taliban for three years then come back and report to us. I'm all ears.

Here are some Mark Twain Dog Quotes that seem about right.

“If you want a true friend, get a dog.”

“The more I learn about people, the more I like my dog.”

“If you pick up a starving dog and make him well, he will not bite you; that is the principal difference between a dog and a man.”

“If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die, I want to go where they went.”

“A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.”
