I am probably missing something here, but what does this have to do with 'wikipedia begs for money', which is the topic of this thread?

In 2 months Canada goes conservative 🤗
    Bye bye Trudeau!
You could be correct on both! I too believe Trudeau is gone. Not sure if Trump will win another term though.

It appears you are correct, he did lead it down that road himself.

    Socialists who turned into fascists.
Just like the left is doing now.
    From Wikipedia:
"The term "National Socialism" arose out of attempts to create a nationalist redefinition of "socialism", as an alternative to both Marxist international socialism and free market capitalism. Nazism rejected the Marxist concepts of class conflict and universal equality, opposed cosmopolitan internationalism, and sought to convince all parts of the new German society to subordinate their personal interests to the "common good", accepting political interests as the main priority of economic organization."

    And

"Nazism is a form of fascism and showed that ideology's disdain for liberal democracy and the parliamentary system, but also incorporated fervent antisemitism, anti-communism, scientific racism, and eugenics into its creed. Its extreme nationalism came from Pan-Germanism and the Völkisch movement prominent in the German nationalism of the time, and it was strongly influenced by the Freikorps paramilitary groups that emerged after Germany's defeat in World War I, from which came the party's "cult of violence" which was "at the heart of the movement." "

In the definition of National Socialism, Wikipedia calls it a far-right ideology.

The "socialism" of National Socialism was merely a re-definition of socialism. They wanted the good name of socialism without the bothersome good ideology of socialism.

Fascism is an ideology of the far-right.

Socialists cannot "turn into" fascists. It involves a complete 180° turn in ideology.

to quote from the site named Quora.

    alexander kolchak notes the following:

"National socialists tend to be socislist but not in extreme way like USSR because they support mantaining private property."

it is a long article so i am only posting a sentence but you can find it by looking up quora ( not wikipedia ) and searching under

Nope. The movement was born on the far-right, and they stayed on the far-right.

National Socialism never had ANYthing to do with socialism. The ideologies are at opposite ends of the political spectrum.

the nazi party was a german national party vying against the international socialist party of the communists for socialist domination of the european world.

i know you don't like it.

So "they tend to be socialist", yet not socialist.

Kolchak was a controversial figure who fought against socialists to the end of his life. He was also old-school Russian and a part of the White movement of the Russian Civil War, who fought against the Bolshevik Reds. Not a fan of Germans either.

Not surprised that what he thought about the new party in Germany was driven by his own ideology, like you.

    Wrong.

From its inception it was a Nationalist organization that opposed Marxism. The only thing that seemed socialist about them was their push for the "common good", but to them, the "common good" was themselves and not the people of Germany. They were an abomination of socialism, and that explains why they were vying against actual socialism.

They were not socialists, an ideology of the left. They were fascists, an ideology of the right.

I know you don't like it, but what you want to think does not change facts.

no, they carried on the socialist movement that began in 1848 in
    europe.

it was, after all, germany, that started worker's right on a social basis.

early german socialism was a good thing.

the socialism of the nazi movement was in itself, a good thing.

communism was a disaster...and remains the same.

the nazis were socialist of a decent order, their failure was that they were also eugenic racists. that is their failure in history.

but, you, suzy, who supports abortion. how are you different ?

how is a dead baby in a red medical waste bag different than a dead jew in the oven ?

to the dead, they are in the same condition.

the eugenic nazis of america are the political feminists of planned parenthood and their ilk.
