cheers,i didn't think you could.ive got a game where my opponent has a bishop left and i have a pawn,but have no chance of getting down to queen. he won't accept my draw offers and the claim draw button does nothing.

If you have a pawn, most likely you have a theoretical chance of promoting it even if there isn't a realistic chance. Therefore the claim draw button will not help you most likely. You might try looking in the chess forum or help forum for a more detailed answer. There are most likely threads there which will clear things up for you.
