Interesting how our eye/brain coordination works. Many days of the week most all of us scan through the RHP General Forum looking at

members' posts, seeing a post. Then we look again more closely, realizing it's a window on someone's world. Then realize it's a person.

You got me on that one, I thought this thread was going to be a sneak-peek at Microsoft's replacement for Vista. 😕

I was hoping for something more along the lines of self-administered defenestration.

If forum posts are a window to the person, then you surely live in a glass house.

Not convinced GB. You post a plethora of posts every day, but I know sfa about you.

(except you like making lots of posts some of which hurt my brain).

Evidence please....................

The nakedness of transparency and perils of candor aren't everyone's cup of tea. Guess finding joy with inner parts and haggis are acquired tastes.

"Not convinced" of what? "Evidence" of what? "Hurt my brain"... 'If you make people think they're thinking,

they'll love you. If you actually cause them to think, they'll hate you.' Please help me understand 'sfa'.

Come on GB - read your own post as reference to mine, my illustrious rhp friend.....

I'm not convinced of its premise; that posts here are a “window” to the person. Another metaphor is more appropriate and therefore requiring "evidence" of your claim.

Perhaps you are making an inference that because your own posts are a window your own personage, that therefore all posts are a window to the postee?

Sfa = sweet **** all. Excuse the coarseness but perhaps it is justified in that we all know nothing of each others real person.

Your posts often make me think. But sometime the benefit is dubious and painful for my simple synapses!

You're probably more inclined to believe you/your family leave carbon footprints than that you leave your unique signatures everywhere you go.

Genetic inheritance, place and station of birth, environment, experiences and innumerable daily decisions synthesize to form our view of ourselves,

of others and the larger world. Our bodies are temporary tents. We are what we think. That real you expresses itself constantly with others or alone.
