Ice pellets are a form of precipitation consisting of small, translucent balls of ice. Ice pellets are different from graupel ("soft hail"😉

The Weather guy always calls them ice pellets....I see I spelled pellets wrong! (sighs)

We were supposed to get a bunch 30 cm of snow but only got a bit, maybe 10cm. Seems we ducked a bullet.👍

True enough. Getting hit by an ice pellet might sting a bit but an ice pallet would probably “ do you in”…ouch!!!😡👍

They feel like a pick not as bad as you may think. Doesn't feel great though. Just a little bigger than hail. Jeeze Stees you know all about ice pellets! You old Canadian Geezer

Is an ice pallet a pallet with stacks of block ice on it or a pallet made of ice instead of wood?

Snow, rain, hail, ice pellets, sleet, which we got last storm come to think of it.

I am missing 2 which we probably get also.

I think there's a mixture of terms. Ice pellets are small frozen bits, which is sleet, from my understanding. When I studied meteorology there were 7 forms. Rain, hail, fog, graupel, snow, sleet and virga.
