****e*
XYSTER - a surgical instrument for scraping bone; surgical rasp or file.

We can use dictionaries. I’ve used a glossary once I’ve homed in on a word but I had to get this one through the easiest, quickest route.

Is this a word familiar to you or did you choose it from a dictionary?

Dictionary words in specialist fields can be hard to work out without a word-finder site. What I like is an everyday word with an enticing cryptic clue; more fun and more rewarding 🙂

Seems Mr Burton has retired until the morning? What if we have the word you removed earlier Happy Chappy?
