I haven't seen it advertised on this website but there is a World Championship match going on right now between Topalov the FIDE champion and Kramnik the "Classical" champion. The two branches of chess split in 1993 and are finally reuniting over this match, which means it's historic. This is the link to FIDE's live coverage...

I'm rooting for Kramnik, but not just because Topalov is playing very very poorly. I think Kramnik is the better player and always has been.
