whats the rules about extra time/penalties? /golden goal??
Nothing. If you predict the correct score you will get 3 points; e.g. England vs Ecuador goes to penalties after a 2-2 draw, and England score 5 goals in comparison to Ecuadors 3 goals in the penalty shootout. If you predicted a score of 7-5 to England you get 3 points. If not, you get 1 or 0 points.

The full extra time will ALWAYS be played (both halves). Whoever is top at the end of this wins, if they score 1 goal or 10. If it is still a draw penalties are played.

Seems tough to get the penalty score right as well. Can we have 2 points for getting the fulltime score right but not necessarily the pens score? 🙂

Okay, now I'm beginning to not understand this at all.

Well if you think its going to be a draw then consider who might win on penalties.

These next games are knock-out games, so if after full time they end in a draw, each team takes succesive PKs until one gains an advantage and therefore wins. Does that help at all?

Yes, that helps, thanks. Okay, so there will be no draws, right? But in the end there is a winner and a loser and a score like England 4 - Brazil 3, or whatever, right? I guess the only thing I need to remember then is that there will be no draws when picking scores. Am I correct in this?

Yeah no draws, though I've posted on Freddie's thread that I might think that a game goes to a draw, but put the penalty score also (I'm thinking it will be harder to predict this penalty score than a 'normal' score).
