Mackaay can not play in a 4-3-3 system. He is a counter player and that's not the way Van Basten wants to play. It occurs ofcourse, but is not the intention. And in all the national games he played, he never was a thread for the opponents. Ruud and Kuyt were.
But hey, I predicted we would lose 2-0. So I know just zilch.
