Red Sox

Pitching: Daisuke Matsuzaka is considered the number 3 pitcher, and Wakefield number 4. Most other teams, Daisuke Matsuzaka would be the ace, and Wakefield a number 3 pitcher. Schilling has woken up, and Becket seems to have learned to trust Veritek.

Batting: Manram is once again happy to be in Boston, and combined with Ortiz they are a powerful punch able to score, or run a pitch-count up. JD Drew has added a bit of a strong bat, and Youkilis has a great on-base percentage. Coco is also healed up and got some power back in his bat after suffering a finger injury, and surgery I believe. Says he's 100 percent, just takes a bit of time for his finger to wake up.. by the time he drives to the park his finger is fine.

Destiny: The Red Sox started very strong in the early 1900's with 5 or 6 wins. They cursed themselves when they traded The Bambino, but the curse is now broken. They will pick up where they left off as the greatest baseball team EVAH! The Yankee's got the monkey on their back that year Veritek got in PayRod's FACE and they picked it up to get the first EVAH 7 game sweep in a ALC series. Lost the first 3, and crushed the last 4 to go onto an uneventful WS with the Angels.

Well thought out. I don't agree with point 3, however.

True, point 3 is a little sketchy, and I got my eye on point 1 😉

They look good so far. They get Petey back and they'll be gold!

If the Tigers didn't have to wait so long for the World Series to start after they won the American League championship last year, I think they could have won the world series. They beat the Yankees 3-1 and Oakland 4-0 I believe, they were on a roll.

I was pretty bent also. They should have played some whiffle ball or something on their off time.

Or perhaps they did?

I am just a big Jim Leyland fan because he graduated from the high school that I am going to now and I have met him in person when he and the other notable alumni from our school were inducted into our hall of fame.

Tigers vs. Padres

I'm sorry, but the Mets will tank out when the injury bug eventually hits.
