I was a cop in Auckland for many years.. there were lots of funny incidents but these made anedotes at a couple of retirements.. inc my own..
a few of us bust into a room to arrest a really violent guy with a knife.. we took a police dog with us.. it bit me in the a's when I backed up to kick the door, bit a detective as we were cuffing the guy and finally when we had the guy cuffed the damn dog bit him.
Took two dog (the same police dog and one more) ... different incident nasty domestic.. woman hitter (ex pro-boxer 6ft 4ins) was holed up in a motel unit.. kicked in the door spotted the bad guy in the back room he punched the dog on the nose ..beauty jab made it roll back.. dog handler ..perfect bruse lee impression licked the guy in the head flattening him. Good job you say... guess what....there's more!!!!
In the side room our plucky old friendly neighbourhood police dog has found the guys innocent brother... it bit him in the nuts ripping his jeans and his scrotum.. don't laugh here.. as we came in the room he was sitting on the bed screaming holding his left nut down by his knee on it's little cord.. Ambulance came.. (they wet themselves laughing).. guy got a small compensation amount but heck we would have paid it gladly for the sheer entertainment value..
True story.. still have the marks on my bottom! 😞
