    No, just bred as thoroughly as an asthmatic bulldog and then the few odd ones left over are picked out and tossed away. And all because of the supermarkets who are now pretending to be all virtuous and green about it.
    If you really want to do something for farmers and proper vegetables, but your veg from a real greengrocer, if possible at the weekly market.

    They're evil because they a. pay ha'pence to the farmers, and b. force you to buy the pretty ones for pounds, by not even offering the ugly ones any more.
