I've seen that myself, take a look at lovlyboy's games though 22 !!!
Here is my thesis of how he/she could bring him/herself up to that many games. If you are a non-subscriber and you have 5 games going, you can go to open invited and create a challenge. If you repeatedly click the creat challenge button before the first challenge reached the server then you can create way more then 6 games for yourself ... Well that I how I think he/she could have done it

I played for 6 months before signing up and it used to happen to me by accident. More often or not I'd have 7 or 8 games going instead of the 6 permitted. I could never work out why, I think it was when I had put a game in the Open Invites and then someone challenge me around the same time.

Anyways, even though they can get more than 6 games, how much fun can it be, just random invites, no tournaments, etc...
I'm happy paying my $19.95!
