i am not wealthy,
nor a household name...
i've been told my face is pretty,
but it sure ain't brought me fame...
neither am i black, but i feel the frustration and pain (in a white privileged way)
when i see/read the news of another black person gunned down for being black...
but,
there are black folks in a position of power, GREAT power, over the entire usa economy...
it's true...
if every black athlete simply refused to play another televised game,
any law could and would be passed within weeks...
and,
should the athletes of color remain united,
i feel they could simply crush white privilege...
you wanna see the super bowl???
you wanna bet in yer office basketball pool???
you wanna see the stanley cup???
wait, scratch that last one...
quit, forever and ever, shooting unarmed black people...
the economic power lies within the hands of athletes of color...

You make it sound like blacks are in constant fear of being shot by police, when only a little over 100 a year are killed by cops, the vast majority of which are justified, whereas over 6000 blacks a year are murdered by other blacks. They have more to fear from each other than the police.
Watch this and quit being a doosh:

Why do you gringos get so agitated whenever you discuss the nation?
I mean, it is meaningless, really. An artificial construct. A tool for the 1% to
manipulate and exploit the masses. What is a country anyway? Do you
think anybody cares for any of you when the crap hits the fan? It is quite
silly to get all riled up by a fiction, an illusion... smoke and mirrors.
What was yesterday is today and what is today will be tomorrow. There is
nothing new under the sun. Empires will be born, rise, peak, decay and
disappear. From dirt we all came and to dirt we shall return. Small,
unimportant cogs in the huge machinery of history, where in the greater
perspective nothing, absolutely nothing really matters at all.
Life is too short to be angry all the time. It's barely enough to feel empty
and be jaded about the utter meaninglessness of it all.
