    Not always. And I don't know any Aussies in Ireland, only ones I have met traveling in other countries. Not all bad of course.

    It's interesting that tourists as a group are awful, but if you actually talk to them many turn out to be decent people. Local residents here traditionally used to refer to our summer invaders as "terrorists" but recently they've turned into "visitors" as being less alarming. Terrorist has become a no-go word, like so many other words seen as inflammatory.
