May I respectfully suggest that reality is a little more basic than that. Unit of measure of life is the gift of one day at a time. None of us have the least clue as to whether or not another day is in the cards, much less what that tommorow may or may not bring.

Wouldn't that "gift" be more like nanoseconds or whatever the smallest unit of time is?

Good observation by you and GBS as well. I'm not even sure I'll have time to type this let alone click 'post'.

Hmmm... seems I survived another few seconds, but you never know... you just don't know.

Let's take a different tack. Suppose tomorrow brought great prosperity or, alternatively, dropped

mind boggling adversity on your head or in your lap... how would your life change overnight?

If it's held on the moon probably interest will accrue.

Don't be silly. It's already being used to prop up Italy. Andy hasn't checked but his pension dropped 10% already, after a chunk was taken for Greece and Libya.

Down to 80% now, and with Ireland to follow, well... just no interest. 🙁

Ooops... Hope he's not listening. 😉

You forgot Spain. I think Andy used to work for NASA and they set up an intergalactic banking system on the moon back in 1969. Remember the "That's one small step for...etc"? Well what he actually said was, "That's one small deposit for Handy Andy and...." .
