Although appropriate, "wretched and clingy" are not words which suit you well: Better might be "grasping and desperate".

I'll continue to hope for your eventual redemption; because I do believe in rehabilitation. But at this moment, you're in full-on relapse. Let's hope that the damage you're doing, can be repaired.
