500 rating

I was just looking in Open Invites, as I do..., when I spotted someone asking for opponents with ratings less than 500! I thought surely there can't be many folk down there, but I searched under Find Player, ... there are quite a few. How?
There are many at 500, but only one at 499. Odd. Check it out.

Specifically - How did e01osama have a rating that suddenly jumped from 1500 to 499???
It's well past his provisional rating period, so what happened???????

Is there a bug somewhere???

I wouldn't be surprised if Russ did that manually due to there being 8 e01osama accounts, and the main e01osama account playing against at least 5 "other people" multiple times, who seem to get scared and resign after 1 move, or get mated over and over after 4 moves.
