A way to speed up tournaments

This was originally suggested by another member a few months back but the sugestion was very a good one and worth another mention. Hopefully it will be implemented:
In tournaments where a clear winner has already been determined, before all the games have been played by the other opponents in the grouping, that player will be declared the winner and allowed to advance.
This will allow the next rounds to advance more quickly and speed up
the tournaments. It seems a little silly to make everyone wait a few months for games that will not affect the outcome of the tournament.

I sincerely hope this change can be implemented.

This has come up many times, but good that you mention it again, because it is a very good idea.

sounds good to me and if I was one of the slow players with no chance of going through then I wouldn't mind the next tournament continueing whilst I still fight for a scrap of pride. 😀
