Been here for a while now and took a long break.

I would like to go back and see some of my early games.

I have all my finished games in one archive but it would take an eternity to try and scroll back to the beginning (if that is possible)

Firstly, is there a quick way to get back and secondly, how far back can we go?

I would love to see the first game I ever played here.

I would love to see the first game I ever played here.
If I look in any of my folders,the oldest game is at the top of the list.
I have my settings on least time remaining so maybe try that

They are all there.
I tried what @venda suggested and saw games listed going back to September 2002 but when I clicked on a game all I got was a white screen.

I don't understand why.I clicked several games in different folders and it worked fine.
Have you got "all games" selected when you go to your archives folder?

yes; also i can see recent games easily; it is just when I clicked on the oldest (sept 2001) all I got was the address of the game in the address bar but the rest of the page was white.

Ok.
Russ always says games are never deleted because an opponent may want to access them.
Maybe you and your opponent in the old game left the site at some stage so the game got deleted.
I suspect you need to ask Russ and quote the game number.
