Accused of cheating

An opponent has accused me of cheating in a game currently in progress. Should I report him for abuse?

I'll post this in the more popular Chess forum as I guess I'll get quicker responses.

If he does it in a public forum you should report it. In game messages and PMs it's usually a mind game, he's trying to wreck your concentration. The correct response here is to put him on your ignore list, then he can't do it again because you will not see any messages that he posts. Then make sure that you wipe the board with him, that's the best thing you can do to these clowns.
