What does the clock with a moving hand in the Alert column of the 'My Games' screen signify.

that you only have 24 hours to move until your opponent has the option to time out your game

Wrong. A small yellow clock indicates your timebank is being used. A larger white one indicates you have 24 hours or less before your opponent can claim a win and a flashing red and white one indicates your opponent could claim a win.
