Back in the day everyone had these but they removed it.
Anyone who still has it has had it since long ago. If they change it they lose the ability to have animated.

My avatar was animated since I joined in 2006. Then, due to a ridiculous complaint, it was deleted, now it is not animated anymore. I consider it an injustice. Thanks for your attention.

Some of them were visually annoying; I recall the contra-rotating b&w-spirals avatar was very distracting.

I don't remember whose it was, but I remember the avatar.
Quanto's is a bit nervy--I had not noticed it, until it was mentioned in this thread. He doesn't post to the forums, and I play only club tournies, so we haven't crossed paths here.

Animation is not required for anything meaningful in an avatar (that includes yours an i do remember the animation).

P.S. I think you need to read your messages better before posting because that tongue twister about "mating" contains a serious typo.
