Auto timeout?

Is there an auto-timeout in Clan League games? My opponent was on vacation, I respected his flag - only to find, a couple of days later, that the games were decided in my favour - through a timeout I did not invoke. What happened?

There is an auto-timeout in tournament and league games.

I think it kicks in about 2 days after the skull appears, presumably on the basis that the tournament shouldn't be held up.
